SUPPORTING ENGLISH NATIONAL WAGE PETITION

Hello fellow Mums as a mother of 5 I have known how hard it is to raise them on low incomes. I'm not political but my eldest son 23year old Oliver has started up a campaign to raise the minimum wage from £6.08 to £8.75. I hope you will support him and his campaign. Working Mums should not have to struggle to put food on the table, and shouldn't have to skip meals so that their children can eat. That is why my son Oliver has launched his campaign and I trust that Mums out there will sign his petition.

Thank You Mums

It isn't as simple as putting up the min wage, though.

What will be given to some will then have to be taken off any inwork benefits paid. People are in a situaion that it isn't worth their while working more hours.

When the minimum income guarantee first came in for pensioners, over all alot of people's income dropped because they lost HB and CT.

We need a drop in living expenses.

It is good that your son is politically interested though.
