Yeah right, let's let our kids play in the street more, Diane Clever-clogs Abbott. It's such a friendly place to play, what with all the cars and the heroin addict just along the way. I remember a couple of kids playing Knock Down Ginger recently (you know, ring on the bell & run), as kids will if left to themselves, until he answered the door and they decided it wasn't such a good idea. I would generally avoid sending kids out onto the street unsupervised if possible, and I don't think our area is among the worst in London.

The comment about playing in the street in London does seem ill-advised, for traffic reasons, as much as crime and gang issues.
