Just seen the news and feel sickened.

Will someone please tell me what exactly is going on in that country?

Oh my God, it is awful :(
Just saw the clip of the little 5 year old boy :(

Shorthand explanation is that Syrians are unhappy with their oppressive dictatorship government led by President Bashar Al-Assad, are trying to organise protests and being met with very harsh suppression by the army, resulting in many deaths. There is meant to be a 'peace plan' which is being overseen by monitors from the Arab League (rather than any Western involvement) but this does not appear to be effective.

It's awful I was reading last night that hundreds of children have died since the protests began. Sad

OP. Do an advanced search on UK. MSM propaganda and you will probably find some shorthand explanations on how this is yet another total setup ran by the so called 'global-elite' in order to destabilize the middle east. In order to introduce a One World Government. Go and educate your self before it's too late.

History repeats it's self over and over.

I am now hiding this thread as I find NWO supporters either totally dim or in collusion.

CogitoErgoSometimes · 02/01/2012 08:03

NWO? Hmm?.... Not at all reasonable or understandable that an oppressed people might have had enough and act without outside influence? I'll see your 'dim' and 'in collusion' and raise you a 'deluded' tigerchilli

Haziedoll · 02/01/2012 11:38

You have a nice way with words TigerChili. I don't think.

NWO? Grin. I do love conspiracy theorists.

The first conspiracy theorist of the year is like the first cuckoo of spring... a reassuring sign.
