I think good actors are those you empathise with rather than just see the actor IYKWIM. When I see Tom Cruise, I just see Tom Cruise. He's the same in every film he's ever made.

Now, just watched Christopher Eccleston in Elizabeth. Yum Yum! Didn't think of Doctor Who once!

Agree with the irritating bit though!

I was annoyed about that bit so tried to blank it out in my memory . Was soooo pleased about the Steve Buscemi bit though - love him to bits, he deserves some recognition!!!
