Just seen this on BBC news, and can't believe what I'm reading!!

In what world is this acceptable?! He should be sacked for gross misconduct, never mind resigning!!

I thought it meant he wanted to have sex with her.

Well where I'm from it means to beat her up!

In scotland it means beating someone up!

Either way--sex/violence not acceptable!

Hold the bus - why not wait for the facts... namely, no other MP from any party who was also at the meeting backs up her version of events. Mischief making it would seem but why let the truth get in the way!

Report I read seemed to suggest at least 2 others had heard remark - the MP even said someone passed him a note during meeting saying it was inappropriate!
