I know, it is really tacky, a real Marie-Antoinette moment.

Guest Editor. One-off. Big difference. We're all talking about it, it's in the papers, and I bet that edition of the Big Issue is bought by plenty that otherwise wouldn't. Not tacky...intelligent PR to raise the profile.

Doesnt she (and Sting) have their own chef? Anyway they do own some lovely homes.

By that reckoning anybody who has just one home oughtn't to edit The Big Issue either.

I had no idea!

I don't know about fans, but she certainly scores on curiosity value. (Confession - I have no idea what she actually does) In the past, they've had David Cameron and Richard Branson edit the mag. They're not Cardboard City residents either.
