Plethora of threads about this!

3 new ones started today here, here and here.

EdithWeston · 30/09/2011 18:21

< should there be a sweepstakes on how many threads there'll be by midnight? None that I've seen "chat" yet, so I reckon there could be another two or three yet >

JohnHemmingsPussy · 30/09/2011 18:25

miaow

NanaNina · 30/09/2011 20:18

Am loving the posts and agree JimmyS that JH is forever calling for an open public debate on court proceedings, so come on JH your wife has now been found guilty so it is no longer sub judice.........so we would I'm sure all be fascinated to hear your views on the matter........I reckon some stupid social worker has come along and "snatched" the kitten for adoption.

JohnHemmingsPussy · 30/09/2011 21:34

Ex wife

nonentity · 01/10/2011 00:22

Thank goodness it was only the cat Sad

adamschic · 01/10/2011 00:28

Oh, Oh saw this on the news, it is our JH isn't it? Hmm thing is I wouldn't well not from the photos' would have to meet in the flesh. Anyway poor kitty.

GothAnneGeddes · 01/10/2011 02:50

The sw will no doubt be on a cruise somewhere with the proceeds for meeting the cat adoption targets.

This thread is piss funny btw. Grin

poor beauty :( I'd have looked after her!

EdithWeston · 01/10/2011 12:29

I just find it incredible that she didn't realise she'd taken the cat. I mean, how do you not notice when you have something small, warm and wriggling in your arms?

NanaNina · 01/10/2011 21:08

Ah but you see Edith, Christine Hemmings (apparently JH's ex wife though I don't think they are divorced) has had the minsfortune to live with this unhinged "love rat" (his own description of himself by the way) for a considerable length of time and it may have "disturbed the balance of her mind" at the very least.

GothAnn - love your post and love your description of the Love Rat as a buckethead SGN's mom.

Actually he has been very quiet on the issue of the falling adoption figures, presumably because it doesn't fit in with his conspiracy theory. NO NO, I shouldn't have said that, don't want to encourage him back on to MN.

johnhemming · 02/10/2011 09:48

Typical nananina concentrating on the adults and ignoring the child that has lost her kitten then relying on abuse to replace argument.

I have commented on the adoption issue. We don't know the full story on the figures as yet. There may be an increase in returns to parents, residency orders or SGOs.

The requirement for an adoption target for each local authority was scrapped from 1st April 2008.

Mr. Hemming to be fair has commented on the adoption figures on his blog. He claims that the government wants more parents to abandon their babies at birth. Seriously.

JimmyS · 02/10/2011 16:33

"Typical nananina concentrating on the adults and ignoring the child"

Pretty much what Wall P said about you in the Pullen case wasn't it?

johnhemming · 02/10/2011 17:41

Do people seriously believe that politicians should be held to account for the behaviour of their parents, wives, children or kittens?

mathanxiety · 02/10/2011 17:44

Wondering where you have found the time to be useful to constituents in the past...

I think a lack of personal integrity is a big problem in politics, yes.

CaptainNancy · 02/10/2011 18:23

It's more than one child actually. I doubt any of his older children are thrilled by his behaviour either.

"Do people seriously believe that politicians should be held to account for the behaviour of their parents, wives, children or kittens?"

I don't think it's their behaviour that you were being asked about. Be that is it may, I have a different question. You were quoted by the BBC as follows: "Freedom of speech is the right to tell the truth, not the same as the right to know - it doesn't give them the right to know minute details about people's lives."

I would agree that you and your family have a right to privacy. I'm curious however as to why you believe that you do, but that Mr. Tune or Mr. Giggs (to take two obvious examples), do not.
