He must have hit his head unusually hard as they always have that rubbery stuff underneath them.

In any case, it's a tragedy, but let's not go mad and start talking about banning climbing frames. Our kids are wrapped in cotton wool too much already.

Poor family and teachers, awful. Perhaps he died and then fell iykwim.

On the school website it shows quite a big climbing frame amongst other tous and flight of stairs. My son was a climber and i was often getting calls that he had banged his head. Feel so much for that poor family :(
