For his work with dyslexic children. Honorary of course. Remember when he came on here to do a webchat? He was really lovely.

I remember that Smile I just saw him on the news, and it made me feel all warm and fuzzy. Well done to him, he deserves it.

He came to DD's school a three years ago when he did a UK tour of schools Grin

The teachers said he was lovely and not at all full of himself. We have a signed book of his.

If he were a farmer what would he grow though?

JLK2 · 15/09/2011 22:27

The honours system just jumped the shark.

huffythethreadslayer · 15/09/2011 22:28

He came to our school quite recently and everybody, kids and staff, LOVED him. He's an amazing orator!

AmberLeaf · 15/09/2011 22:36

Has anyone got a link to his webchat? [or was it recent/would it be easy to find?]

I missed it.

meditrina · 15/09/2011 22:48

I saw him on the news - it was great, especially when he said that he'd been so excited to receive the actual medal he'd slept with it pinned to his pyjamas!

JLK2 · 15/09/2011 22:50

He'd better be careful with that medal, otherwise he might sit on it.
