I just did! (Okay, so in the David Blaine thread.. but still!)

I could be really cruel and make some flippant comment like "they actually proved he had a heart?!" ...

but then it must have been pretty scary for him and his family. I'm glad it's unlikely to return.

I was thinking that but haven't really got anything to say about it - I hope he is ok just like I would anyone and feel that this sort of thing is only ever bad for a politician in the cut throat world that they live in a sign of weakness is always bad.

If dinosaur wants to stand for PM next time she'll get my vote, the others are all crap
(flo2, it was on the news yesterday or early this morning I think so I was surprised that no-one cared enough to start a thread.... poor Tone) said in post-modern ironic voice

A friend of mine is a GP. She says that things have been underplayed a bit in the official comments on this incident. There is a history of cardiovascular disease in his family - his father had a stroke at about age 40. His exercise regime that we hear so much about would be medically advisable, given the family history, rather than just a commendable dedication to fitness.
