The iron lady is in hospital after taking a funny turn
Is it her daughter or the shock of a green Tory leader that has startled the old lass?

"Bless her", GDG???

I think not! Old cow.

(Sorry, but, you know...)

Form an orderly line in the Stamping the Dirt Down Queue ladies

PruniStuffing · 07/12/2005 22:52

Loathsome elderly baggage feels faint. Is it the gin?

PantomimEDAMe · 07/12/2005 22:55

She didn't show even an atom of sympathy for any of the people whose lives she tore apart. So I'd struggle to find any for her.

PruniStuffing · 07/12/2005 22:58

A question just popped into my head: imagine it's 1986 or thereabouts, and you were a match for Thatch's blood/tissue type: would you have donated a kidney?
Hmm, a definite quandary...

PantomimEDAMe · 07/12/2005 23:04

The quandary is, would you have cackled or guffawed as you walked away?

PruniStuffing · 07/12/2005 23:11

Or raspberried?

PantomimEDAMe · 07/12/2005 23:12

Great minds, Pruni, was about to post 'or parped'.

PruniStuffing · 07/12/2005 23:15

We are bound to get into some sort of trouble for this...

It is going to be enormous fun when she finally carks it, there's a massive archive of eighties TV satire and Ben Elton to go through.

Mincepiedermama · 07/12/2005 23:21

Every time I hear that song from Wizard of Oz that goes 'Ding Dong the witch is dead. Which old witch? The wicked witch', I think of Thatcher and plan how I'll sing it out loud when she departs.

Do I post this. Hmmmm. Now I have guilt because she's an old woman.

Fuck it. The wine guides my finger to the mouse and ...

PruniStuffing · 07/12/2005 23:23

Dh and I are going to throw a party.

No wine needed to post that.

Glitterygook · 08/12/2005 10:39

Pathetic.

thecattleareALOHing · 08/12/2005 10:45

I think dh will be raising her glass to her passing for sure.
Any friend of Pinochet is an enemy of mine, that's for sure. She just loved a nice bit of torture.
Sadly so do most world leaders.

walkinginawinterBundleland · 08/12/2005 10:46

she was at the hairdressers, apparently

Tinker · 08/12/2005 10:52

Wonder if they'll attempt to erect another statue in her "honour".

Mincepiedermama · 08/12/2005 13:37

Drat! She has been given a clean bill of health. Obviously it was just an attempt to steal her dd's limelight.

Janh · 08/12/2005 13:45

bugger!

There's a quote from Cameron down the page that "he was sorry to hear..." and for a glorious second I thought it was "that she is better"

harpsiheraldangelssing · 08/12/2005 13:46

ah that one will live for ever
it's all the babies she ate in the eighties

Damn it she is out and back circulating amongst the innocents.
Her old constituency is where my dd goes for all her hospital appts. I spit everytime and shudder.
