Idiot man. I worked in a cafe once and a child was sick on the (new) carpet. Should we have banned all children?
In fact, we were so busy that I don't think anybody else even noticed.

Chains often get a bad press but they can often be better at accessibility issues than some independent places because they've got a head office doing the thinking of these things for them.

FWIW, guide dogs in training are often out and about near where I live and you often see them in Starbucks with their trainers.

Surely if the owners are breaking equality laws they could simply be prosecuted - on at least two counts, it seems.

Maybe the cafe should put up a sign like from the 1950s 'No dogs, no Irish', instead it would be 'No guide dogs, no breastfeeding' and a few other pieces of lunacy.

At times like this Britain seems a very primitive place to be - riots and destruction on the one hand and neurotic, ignorant discrimination on the other.
