is it worth a mumsnet petition?

PantomimEDAMe · 03/12/2005 13:00

Oh, that's a shame.

AwayInAMunker · 03/12/2005 13:01

Surely something can be done - it's not a good day for women, this, IMO.

Thats rubbish, they helped me as well. Wonder what we can do - if anything...

Frizbethebumpedupreindeer · 03/12/2005 13:53

Happy to help if anything can be done?

I don't think a petition would help - who to and what about?; I heard about this last week, but am not sure about the background.

Not sure what I think about Platts's argument, I have to say. I'd be very surprised if the MA were completely government-dependent. Don't know how much it generated itself, who else it got funding from, etc...

NSPCC has swallowed up ChildLine as well, btw.

(Sorry, I write about this sort of stuff from time to time!)

MI (that is you, isn't it) what a fab Christmas name.

P.S. Dh has had a job interview with Disability Now...
