Should David Cameron resign?

Given that Paul Stephenson and John Yates have done so over their 'misjudgements' when hiring Neil Wallis should DC be accountable for his poor judgement in hiring Andy Coulson?

But it wasn't under Labours watch when he hired AC.

He was warned it was a bad move but went ahead with the appointmebt anyway.

And isn't it funny that it's only been the 'coalition' for the past fortnight ?

Previous to all this coming out, all we have heard is what the 'Tories' are doing.

reelingintheyears · 18/07/2011 23:03

Yes mrsdonkey.

On both points.

hester · 18/07/2011 23:04

We can dream.

mrsdonkeybucket · 18/07/2011 23:04

Ah yes, reeling he was warned. But the little love didn't quite hear what was said properly, so it's not his fault.

reelingintheyears · 18/07/2011 23:05

I'm torn between here and Newsnight...life's a bitch..Grin

I think the general public give a great big fuck

No body wanted shiney Dave and his sidekick anyway

bye bye Dave

mrsdonkeybucket · 18/07/2011 23:08

I know ! Listening to news. But it makes me cross. Very cross.

What a surprise. Andy Coulson denies statements made by Sean Hoare. RIP.

Why do these people think that if they deny, deny, deny, "didn't know", "didn't listen properly" - that it absolves them of responsibility ?

Where else in a part of life, let alone in a workplace, could you get away with these excuses ?

mrsdonkeybucket · 18/07/2011 23:10

A lot of people voted Tory.

Yes. But not enough to want them to run the country.

Actually, I think the country made it clear at the GE that we felt that none of them were what we wanted.

LemonDifficult · 18/07/2011 23:10

No, of course not. Tony Blair started an illegal war, Gordon Brown overspent us into serious difficulty. Hiring then firing Andy Coulson and going to drinks with Rebekah Wade doesn't really register beside that.

The phoning hacking scandal is a big deal. But really not THAT big a deal. Especially when the European currency is about to implode.

reelingintheyears · 18/07/2011 23:12

So.....

5p that he's gone by September anyone?

OP posts:
mrsdonkeybucket · 18/07/2011 23:13

It does, Lemon, when you find out that the Politicians, the Police and the media are 'all in this together'.

I don't want corrupt people running our country. I want them to do the best for our country, for us, and for the future of this country, our children/grandchildren.

This 'coalition' is not it.

i predict dave will do nothing

but let's face it this whole issue seems to have a massive momentum all of its own so .....

mrsdonkeybucket · 18/07/2011 23:19

Several million was still not enough, smallwhitecat. Oh, silly me, I thought we lived in a democracy. Hmm

We haven't heard yet if AC has commited an offence. He was bailed till September, was he not ? Do you not think the delectable Mrs. Brooks spent 9 hours in a Police station, stirring up as much shit as possible for everyone involved but herself ?

I would wait before you shout about civil liberties.

If ordinary idiot members of the public can see that what he did is illegal, I am sure a proper police investigation will. He stated to a SCM that he and RB paid police for information, "within the bounds of the law". It's illegal. End of.

There's no need to be rude.

I am not going to engage in games.

Glitterknickaz · 18/07/2011 23:30

I can't believe people are belittling the hacking of:

Milly Dowler
The Wells & Chapman family
victims of terrorist attacks
widows of soldiers killed in conflict

If it had been Brown that had employed Coulson then I'd want the same for him. I think Blair's toadying to NI was also repellent.

Cameron was too far into Murdoch's thrall.

mrsdonkeybucket · 18/07/2011 23:33

I know, Glitter

I bet that Rupert Murdoch/his son/other corrupt arses in the Police/Media/Parliament didn't have a bloody clue and cared even less who Milly was.

They damn well do now. She was put on this earth for a reason. Just maybe not the one her beloved parents thought she was.

mrsdonkeybucket · 18/07/2011 23:35

I think you meant to use is rather than was in your last sentence though !

chubsasaurus · 18/07/2011 23:35

hahahaa what a joke. Of course not.

Yes, he should.

Because as "CEO" of Britain, he was sleeping on the job....

or colluding, which is much worse...

maypole1 · 18/07/2011 23:55

I love when labour people cry out foul play

A prime mister we never voted for do you recall Borden brown pot calling kettle black and the labour lovies with the laughable though that red ed could actually run the country my cat has a better chance at being pm

Just because he's able to get a few swipes in it dose not mean he will win the fight just like david hay he's punching above his weight
