hee hee...I hate it. Ban the head !!

TwoIfBySea · 24/11/2005 20:49

It is horrible that ad, who thought that a disembodied head made of little heads would actually encourage people to do something!

willandsamsmum · 27/11/2005 23:45

I hate that ad too. It gives me the creeps and I have to change the channel (a bit like the Judderman ad that used to be on for an alchopop - can't remember which one, can only remember that horrible spikey man - urrrgghh)

Fireworks · 28/11/2005 08:22

Hate it too - looks like someone covered in bees or a contagious pox type disease. Nasty nasty nasty

Fireworks · 28/11/2005 08:24

"unacknowledged agression" could make people ill???
I hate it but that seems a little OTT

zippimistletoes · 28/11/2005 08:26

I wasn't alone then, that sounds like a lot of complaints comnsidering most people wouldn't bother, ..i sent them an email after i started my thread on here

unfortunately i am doing so much work at the mom,ent i've hardly had a chance to watch TV

Arabica · 28/11/2005 22:58

Yeah, hate it--it gives DH and I the heebie-jeebies.

yoyo · 28/11/2005 23:00

Must email them. Will take ages to get off to sleep now as queasy feeling is descending just thinking about it.

edam · 28/11/2005 23:01

It's a disturbing image. Not surprised there have been complaints. Can't imagine who thought it was a good idea in the first place!

AND they still haven't sorted out that new weather map grumble grumble grumble - why is the country sand-coloured? Have they not noticed it's mainly green?

BadHair · 28/11/2005 23:03

I hate it too. Reminds me of a Nationwide (remember that?) programme from late 70s that was something to do with people seeing small heads on poppies on battlefields in Flanders. And someone else saw one in their house. I can't remember the story properly but it gave me nightmares for weeks. That advert brought it all back and I really, really hate it.

That Nationwide story was real - honest!

MistleToo · 28/11/2005 23:05

dh isn't keen - he finds it disturbing too

HRHQoQ · 28/11/2005 23:25

oh well guess I'm in the minority then - we all (including the boys( liked it - thought it was quite clever
