I was really happy to read about this .
It is about time women took the helm in African politics in order to lead the continent out of abject poverty and underachievement. I hope George Weah, her opponent, will accept defeat graciously and work with her for the benefit of Liberia and its people.
As a woman, she will know that women are the backbone of communities and that education is the key to empowerment. I cannot remember the whole saying but the sentiment is "educate a woman, you educate the world".

She has her work cut out for her - other African leaders are not impressed and she has huge jub to turn that country around. Her life is at high risk now too. Liberia has some huge problems, George Weah has helped put it on the international platform so hopefully the West will help out.

Agree. She really does have a huge job on her hands but you have to start somewhere. Let's hope that she receives the support that she will desperately need.
