I also do not trust the Police one iota to investigate matters properly.

Emma Kennedy has tweeted that the Sun will be a 7 day paper, called it a "rebranding" rather than a closure.

I am hugely disappointed. Public support will now lose momentum.
Murdoch will re-brand it, then come September - fresh bidding for bskyb.
All the rest of the shit will be brushed under the carpet.

Sorry to be cynical, but I agree that this is all an attempt to protect the BSkyb deal (and probably to protect Rebekah Brooks, as well, as she seems to have absolutely no thought of resigning and RM is seemingly not intending for a second to sack her)
