in the sun newspaper today(sorry no good at links) it says he felt humiliated by comments from simon and sharon throwing water over him.

i have just read the link on another thread and simon and shazzer are begging him to come back. I think its a publicity stunt!

I think it may be a publicity stunt but then again why should anyone have to put up with the abuse that he has taken? He was only doing his job and even Simon said the other day that he diddn't think that Maria would have won anyway. It's only a talent contest and where is Steve Brookenwhatever anyway?

Louis Walsh has surely been in the business long enough to take a glass of water being chucked at him and various slaggings off from the other judges. Definately has to be ratings or one of them has something coming out for Christmas.

the other week Sharon made a really spiteful comment about Louis being in an 'Irish Mafia' which frankly I thought was outrageous and also very racist.No wonder he has resigned - I would, to get away from her!! it's not like he needs the money. Sharon is just vile IMO!!

Didn't see Saturday's, but read that the water chucking was due to a comment he made about Ozzy, which is always bad ground with Sharon - you don't criticise her loved ones.

I'm still against both him and conways being allowed to do the show together anyway.

Why did everyone go nuts when he sent Maria home?It is his choice and I'm sure most weeks there are loads of viewers who disagree but that is the show.I would be pi*ed off too if I'd had water thrown over me.Sharon is so undignified and should know better Louis is an a*e but he isentitled to his opinion.No one would have bought Marias records anyway great voice but too old and looked v dated(runs for cover)

For me it wasn't that he sent Maria home, it was that she was the better performer that night, and he chose the group he had loyalty to.

TBH Louis is a prize prat, people were annoyed at home as Maria was so obviously MORE talented than teh Conway Sisters, it makes NO DIFFERENCE if he knew them or not. She was better. So basically it was down to Louis personal agenda, not talent. Secondly he had a go at Ozzy, which is like a red rag to a bull with Sharon. I might not think her methods (with teh water) were mature, but there was no reason to slag off Ozzy.
