Well I had a lovely glass fo re wine last night with my dinner out and I don't at all guilty about it!

Oops typing all gone awry - Red wine....

I used to drink a pint of Guinness with both of mine, and perhaps a couple of glass of wine at the weekends! In fact with dd I drank 1.5 pints of Guinness in one sitting! Oh the shame!

Both of my kids are fine, bright pennies and all of that. Expectant mothers in Ireland used to be prescribed Guinness! Mind you, that's not much of an comfort when you look at the results is it?

I am paranoid that the reason dd1 is struggling with her reading and numeracy is that I drank a bit when I was pg with her

Enid - STOP! Don't go there. Of course that wouldn't be the cause!

First pregnancy was paranoid. With this pregnancy I am a bit more relaxed. Didn't drink at all from finding out I was pregnant to about 13 weeks - now I have a couple or three glasses of wine a week - but usually when eating.

I'm sure in France they don't give up the wine allowance.

A bit now and then should be O.K. IMHO.
