Natasha giggs says she'll stay

i know the answer is bloody obvious, but does the woman have no self respect at all??

Her husband sleeps with a glamour model, spends loads of money covering it up, has an 8 year affair with his SIL, plus whatever else he has done but isn't admitting to, and she is staying with him?

How can she bear to even be in the same room as him?

I know, but you'd think there would be a limit.

It's not as if she'd be cut off without a penny if they divorced.

I'd love to say I'm surprised. But I'm not.

The length of the affair and the fact it was the SIL would be total dealbreaker for most rational people.

Further proof of how far removed from reality these celebs and footballers really are

Sadly I can't think of one WAG who has ditched their cheating rat husband for whom things have turned out well. Ellen Rives left holding the babies while her ex gets happily married once again to a gushing t.v. presenter, Cheryl Cole miserable without her exh, considering a reconciliation e.t.c.

Perhaps if a few more of them were strong enough to go through with a separation they could set a positive example to the rest and show that divorce doesn't always lead to disaster.

I don't think its a case of women hating other women here, I am not seeing that at all. I was not surprised to read that she has decided to stay with her errant husband, some women do put up with all sorts of nonsense for reasons best known to them.

The same could be said with regards to Colleen Rooney.

Mrs Giggs is perhaps staying for a number of reasons, financial security, the "sake of the children", her inherent low self worth and outside influences i.e it being reported that her MIL wants to keep the family together.

I think she's staying because she has cripplingly low self esteem (and doesn't feel like she deserves better) and also because he's shown himself to be a master manipulator.

Alan Clark's wife stood by him for 40 years.
Once when he was being chased by the press for a 3 some with a mother and daughter while the dad was in the bath
she drove him home in the boot of the car - but then left him to stew for an hour
after his death she said that she put up with the affairs because 4 days a week was more than anybody else got and quite enough for her.

Natasha Giggs married into an unbelievable lifestyle that would stop if she divorced him.
She has his nadgers in a jar and only lets them out when she has a headache.
If she divorced him, he'd get the clap in no time.
She has TOTAL control - the threat of divorce and shame hanging at any time, AND access to his bank account.
Canny lass.

You must remember that many of these wives also live in a bubble. Their friends/social life revolve around the game. Once out of it they won't get back. Their friends won't see them as the husbands mates won't like her. The other wives see a potential threat. Doubtful they can get married as they might lose half in an unsuitable marriage and they can't marry another rich man because they are all taken. No more Hello cover shoots, Cheshire Life sections, invites to Old Trafford,Wembley etc. A nice house, car and income until they marry possibly but that's it.

I guess in a way I do feel a bit sorry for the wags, money doesn't buy happiness and they live in a world so far removed from reality it must seem quite daunting to leave.

Saying that though an affair I might consider forgiving, with a family member not a chance. A bridge too far for me.

Many people stay with their OHs for much less reasons than she has. Mad IMO as you must constantly be waiting for the next affair to be printed and live on your nerves a lot.
