Question: If it had been a building other than a mosque, would the nature of the building have been mentioned in the headline? I wonder.

I wouldn't read too much into the mention of a mosque - it just adds 'interest' to the news story I think.

It is a sad and tragic 'freak' accident - the parents could never have foreseen something like that

Oh, what a horrible accident.

I think the mention of the mosque is v relevant because the height of the building was a factor. If it had been 'lighthouse' or 'Telecom Tower' or 'steeple' I think it would have been similiarly mentioned.
