I was matched twice for marrow and the ANBMT knocked me back as I have a heart rhythm abnormality. Despite my DH (a cardiologist) stating that there was absolutely no reason whatsoever why I shouldn't be a donor, theys till refused me.

I was so pissed off.

Dh & I both were refused but am bumping again

Can you be a bone marrow donor if you're taking prescribed medication? Not for an illness as such, just Citalopram.

There's a list on the Anthony Nolan website of restrictions in donors. Can't link atm though as I'm on my phone

Ive just signed up to be a donor on the Anthony Nolan website, I have already put my name down to donate stem cells through blood donors, is it the same list?
