Breaking news, mum and baby shot dead in Essex

There isn't much out on this yet. Suspect is in hospital, and they haven't even said how old the baby is yet. But its so, so sad. Why take a childs life, they're so innocent :(

My dh is a copper and gets very frustrated with his limited powers and the attiude of cps and solicitors. A legal rep said the other day that "i get worse injuries than that on a rugby field" dh was and he challenged him but he was a right twat about it.
My ex used to get arrested charged then released,he would tell the police he was going back to get me but they couldnt do anything untill he came into the "injunction area" or assaulted me again,i think things are a bit improved but clearly not enough. Violence against a family member is still not taken as seriously as other acts of violence imo.
