yes, well, having contributed to that financial pressure by relieving us of over £14 for Beano membership for DS, DC THompson failed to send more than 2 of the promised regular club members e mails, the comics now on subscription arrive sporadically and took AGES to get started after we sent the money - and if you want to waste yet more money enrol a friend as a member as a present, no they cannot possibly deliver the membership pack to your house instead of prospective members house, nor guarantee that it wil arrive within 3 weeks....so the new site may take a while to rival MN.

Are you confusing the beano with Scotland's premier family?

Agree re getting the beano delivered. Ours is totally sporadic and the joining up free gift was entirely different from the one advertised yet still took nearly 3 months to come! (DS totally loves his beano anyway).

I'd never confuse the two as I'm a diehard Broons and Oor Wullie fan
