Has anyone else joined The National Trust My Farm project.

I've joined so my family can get a better understanding of the ups and downs of farming life.

I can't believe i'm going to be a farmer.Smile

That's brilliant. My DS is autistic and adores farms. Thank you Smile

I'm hoping that it will give the DC an idea of what farming is all about.
My DS2 is covering enviroment & sustainability in Geography.
DD can see all the animals & learn where her food comes from.
I hope it will be fun & learning for them.

It will be fantastic! My DS is too young for the project on sadly (not quite four) but I know someone who has an autistic nephew in post-16 education who is doing a work-placement on a farm and he will love it! The idea of voting / democracy within a topic of interest, well, what better way to learn advanced social skills? My friend is really happy to have been told about this.

I'm a member... enjoying it hugely. Big vote this week, apparently.
