What Price Privacy? (from the Torygraph, don't read the comments!)

Superinjunctions seem a pretty dangerous thing at the moment and I do worry about the gagging of the press. It's not about celebrities and their love lives, but about much more important things. The case of the pregnant girl is pretty alarming.

Super-injunctions are cynical and the preserve of the very wealthy so I am against them but the press has to learn to discriminate between news and private lives (I'm a journalist by the way and in favour of a free press).

I couldn't care less about celebrity affairs and so on but, as long as journalists are prepared to print such trivia, judges will see a reason for keeping these draconian bans and, of course, they filter into other, more news-significant areas too.
