Urgent - WTO talks in Cancun - email Blair campaign

hi everyone

friends of the earth have got an email Blair campaign going to put pressure on the govt to rein in proposals for new regulations on international investment which will be to the disadvantage of developing countries.

BK, yep, I did! Woke up this morning to find the talks had failed. (The EU and US insisted on the developing countries accept an international investment proposal to compromise at all on agricultural subsidies.)

I did read a comment that no deal was better than a bad deal for the developing countries. Sigh.... too bad there was no good deal to be had.
