Its such a shame although it could turn out to be something like carbon monoxide poisoning. There doesn't seem to be anything to suggest something more sinister.

If they need a post mortem to decide the cause of death it must be something that it isn't visible iykwim.

And now the public are paying tributes to a wonderful Mother Confused

Just exactly how does that play out?

Another what again?
I can't see how anyone knows what's happened yet.

caughtinanet · 25/02/2011 14:29

I think the OPs probably referring to the fact that there do seem to have been a few cases recently where parents have killed their children and then themselves but I'm reserving judgement until the cause of death is known.

hymie - I'd never thought of that, it is very incongrous.

If it was just an accident then my first thoughts are misplaced.

But authorities usually bang out a rough account if it's a natural case instead of criminal.

Maybe infanticide has always been as widespread and the reporting of the crime has just changed?

begonyabampot · 25/02/2011 15:16

I'll wait for a full report before I judge. There have been other cases where a parent has been accused unjustly be the public and media of murdering their child.
