Welcome news imo, a Japanese scientist has developed a quick, highly accurate & sensitive test for CJD diagnosis on living human beings, this should pave the way for screening a broad section of society and prevent the spread of this lethal disease through blood, the UK is classed as a high risk nation for CJD/vCJD and this new advanced test is a breakthrough compared to other tests currently available. But the question is will our Dept Of Health consider implementing the new tests?
