Oh right! They were a bit crap anyway, I preferred the talking animals that he did, Wallace and Gromit were just annoying!

WickedWitchOfTheWestCountryLas · 10/10/2005 22:10

Isn't it such a terrible shame for them to lose it all

busybusybee · 10/10/2005 22:18

Dh and i used to live in Bristol - friends worked for Aardman too - when we heard this news i was really upset

Dh thinks its funny................ GRrrrrrrrr

The people in Pakistan and Guatemala, will think it is nothing, as does Nick Park he was quoted on teletext as saying something along the lines of, in terms of what is happening in Pakistan it is not important.

busybusybee · 10/10/2005 22:40

I know LadyTopham - in a global context - esp with what has happened in Pakistan and in El Salvador? but I was still shocked that Dh thought Wallace and Gromit going up in smoke was funny...............

WickedWitchOfTheWestCountryLas · 11/10/2005 22:32

Nick Park did look very chipper about the whole thing, quite refreshing that he has perspective, still a shame but, yes, not devastating like current world events.

LadySherlockofLGJ · 11/10/2005 22:33

Errrrrrrrrrrrrrr

No sign of Lady Topham anywhere ???
