Anyone else go an look to see how old the boyfriend was? Blush

Portofino · 20/01/2011 13:48

He was mentioned separately in the report.

ilovemyhens · 20/01/2011 13:51

He's 27.

scurryfunge · 20/01/2011 13:56

one report saying Dutch architect arrested who also lived in her block.

bacon · 20/01/2011 13:57

Ha ha I also checked the boyfriends age too but luckily I was incorrect.

I feel for the landlord too, talk about being found guilty by the media! Poor man forever his name will be on google as a suspect, this could happen to anyone and its scary.

Hoping for a positive outcome for the family.

DiscoDaisy · 20/01/2011 13:59

The sky news website is saying the police are showing an interest in another flat in the building.

scurryfunge · 20/01/2011 14:00

Daily Mail naming her 32yr old neighbour, a Dutch architect.

wannaBe · 20/01/2011 15:31

as he's an architect, presumably a co-worker?

Appletrees · 20/01/2011 15:33

Oh my lord. Knitting needles. Tumbrils.

onimolap · 20/01/2011 15:35

What is the difference between an architect and a landscape architect?

winnybella · 20/01/2011 16:20

Why was my post deleted? It was one sentence taken out of a newspaper article- nothing inflammatory, just a fact Confused

Chil1234 · 20/01/2011 17:53

Gets the 4mm's out and is ready for a flaming. :) I know it's a tragedy for the family but it's also a technically fascinating case. The snippets of information released by the police that we're privy to via the newspapers almost seem to invite public speculation. If the latest arrest is someone else from inside the building that certainly makes sense.

MummieHunnie · 20/01/2011 17:57

The parents asked for arm chair detectives to do their bit, and if it was that, or something else that fingers crossed has got the correct arrest this time, then that was ok with them. Now where is my ball of wool and my 5mm's Wink.

SarahStrattonsBaubles · 20/01/2011 18:02

Niggling query here. The landlord - I'm not implying anything but why was he released on bail rather than just released? Or will this now be changed in light of the new arrest?

Chil1234 · 20/01/2011 18:12

Released on bail means you've been arrested, released on certain conditions, more inquiries are being made and you will have to return to the police station in the future. Released otherwise means 'free to go' no conditions.

SarahStrattonsBaubles · 20/01/2011 18:14

Thank you. Next idiot question - does that mean they still think he had something to do with it? Like withholding information or something?

Saltatrix · 20/01/2011 18:18

No just means they may need to question him further in case new information is found.

SarahStrattonsBaubles · 20/01/2011 18:23

Ah ok, thank you for that :)

Avantia · 20/01/2011 18:24

So is there now going to be a call for all architects or people living under same roof but differnt dwellings to have CRB checks Hmm

scurryfunge · 20/01/2011 18:26

Remember, the police have also said they believe two people may have been involved.

Chil1234 · 20/01/2011 18:32

@Avantia... that was one of the more paranoid suggestions last time :)
