We will all be staying in bed soon,I daren't get out of it for fear of offending some one.

LadyFioOfTipton · 05/10/2005 18:59

oink oink

barmy indeed

stitch · 05/10/2005 19:00

yes, i think the world has gone mad.

muslims arent allowed to eat lions, tigers or snakes either. you dont see those toys being banned.

stitch · 05/10/2005 19:01

and just exactly how does a toy offend someone?

a few years ago i remember seeing an action man type thing with an exploding face, which i thought was a bit vile.

PottytheVampireSlayer · 05/10/2005 19:02

Perhaps they're telling porkies

MadameMorticiaMills · 05/10/2005 19:03

yes, I'm not allowed to eat my children but I've got pictures of them everywhere!

JoolsToo · 05/10/2005 19:04

I would be interested to know what muslim mumsnetters think.

stitch · 05/10/2005 19:12

as i said, the world has gone mad

Nightynight · 05/10/2005 19:13

this subject came up on mumsnet a little while ago, and the conclusions were rather different I seem to remember.

mumsnet is more tolerant and broad church than Wolverhampton council obviously.

philippat · 05/10/2005 19:17

as a former employee of Wolverhampton council, I hasten to correct you NN - it's Dudley.

philippat · 05/10/2005 19:18
Grin
Nightynight · 05/10/2005 19:45

whoops sorry. It was Wolverhampton when discussed in our office in Munich.
