There is a mumsnetter whose unborn child has lost an arm to Amniotic band syndrome.

She'd passed the 3 month mark. Poor thing. She seems a really down-to-Earth person. I didn't know who she was till I saw her on that Channel 4 show 'The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off'.

Potty, I was thinking of that Mner as well as Nell when I read this story . Very sad for Nell and hoping all goes well for our friend on here and her unborn baby.
