He was alone from before christmas to new years eve? Poor thing!

I suppose it is a very real possiblity, it did cross my mind at one point in my life that I would not see anyone from one week to the next so no-one would know if I was here or not. It worried me at the time - but not enough to do anything about it!

erm Im sorry but if I phoned my daughter and her three year old a)answered the phone and b) told me she was asleep Id have asked him to wake her????? or called back an hour or so later????? I wouldnt have waited a bloody week!

Totally agree with babeinthewood, surely her family would have started to worry at some point before nye that they hadn't heard from her?

I guess the only 'good' thing was he thought she was asleep so wasn't so distressed by it at the time. Better that than being stuck in a aprtment with your dead mother
