Two bombs in Bali TODAY

Two bombs have gone off in Bali today............one in Kuta and one at Jimbaran beach. 19 dead, 51 injured so far.

I can't get any more info - does anyone else know anything?

I was supposed to be going to Bali in two weeks time.

Think I will stop trying to book short breaks in Bali - I was also supposed to be going the week after the 2002 bombing. Must be cursed.

A friend of mine from university died in the 2002 ones.

These terrorists make me SO angry.

this is so awful. I visited bali for my honeymoon 5 years ago and we visited jimbaran which was the loveliest fishing village and I remember it being so vibrant. bali is a beautiful place and its people are so gentle and peaceful. they need the tourist industry and this is disasterous for them. Its such a spiritual place, I can't believe its happening again.

yes, Bali is beautiful isn't it? It's a very, very special place - there is something so different about it. Those poor people. I just can't imagine.

They really need the tourists - I think that things had just started to get back on their feet after the 2002 bombings.

I was so sad to learn this news today, those poor, poor people. We were living in Indonesia when the Bali bomb (2002, I suppose I have to put now.) went off. We subsequently went to Bali twice and thought it was paradise on earth. I can't believe some evil b*stards have attacked again.
