Kate's been dropped by H&M. She was filmed snorting coke.

yeah, right. as if just b/c the paraphrenalia isn't around the kid's not gonna know Mum & Dad are druggies. puleeze. i knew many kids who not only knew Mum & Dad were using by the time they were about 4, but where they hid their stash and later, where to score the gear.

Who cares what she does in her spare time? Well, geez, doing Class A drugs is illegal. Let's see, should we allow paedos, muggers and rapists to carry on doing what they do just b/c they do it outside office hours?

handlemecarefully · 20/09/2005 14:28

On a serious note Cod, does that look professional?

If indeed the soft drink variety do you first decant it into an acceptable drinks tumbler?

sansouci · 20/09/2005 14:29

no, not cod. she swigs hers straight from the can!

Had to mentally re-adjust my image of Cod there momentarily. Very relieved to be able to adjust it back again...

aloha · 20/09/2005 14:30

Uses her gavel for all sorts, I've heard.

sansouci · 20/09/2005 14:32

goodbye kate, hello cod

taking coke is not in the same category as rape and paedophilia fgs

Cam · 20/09/2005 14:34

Spare time, lucky her, how old is Lila?

expatinscotland · 20/09/2005 14:34

it isn't? geez, that's funny, i was once robbed at gunpoint by a man who was high on coke and robbing people to fund his habit.

sorry, but having a gun pointed at my head and possibly being murdered so someone could get high sort of changed my attitude towards people who use drugs.

Caligula · 20/09/2005 14:36

You might still get a higher sentence for it though

noddyholder · 20/09/2005 14:38

I said rape and paedophilia not mugging

I wondered when there would be a leap to murder and rape. FGS.

Outraged of Tunbridge Wells etc.

Caligula · 20/09/2005 14:40

But they're all illegal.

I think the original point was that it's not a good example to give your kids, to be doing something habitually which is illegal. (Unless you happen to live in apartheid south africa or somewhere ghastly like that, in which case it probably is a good example if you habitually break the law)

Fio2 · 20/09/2005 14:40

lots of heroin addicts keep their children

cocaine is addictive but alot of people use it recreationally, like alcohol. how many of you go out on a binge of a weekend? Oh i forgot, none of you

Oh, but robbing people at gunpoint and telling them you're going to blow their heads off it they don't hand you their bag quickly enough is okay.

As for rape, drugs can play a big role in the occurance of this crime as well.

I have zero sympathy for this gal. 'Oh, poor thing,' my ass. Poor kid! Having to grow up w/a mum like that.

sansouci · 20/09/2005 14:41

irishbird, if i've understood correctly the issue is "role models" and "corporate images".

expatinscotland · 20/09/2005 14:42

And excepting the people they rob, beat or murder to get hold of the money for their next high/fix, whatever.

JoolsToo · 20/09/2005 14:44

expat - I'm right behind you! Go girl!

Yes but Sansouci, I don't think Kate Moss has ever held herself up as a role model. I could be wrong, as I don't follow celebs, but as far as I am aware she is just a pretty girl/woman who models clothes and make up.
Because she is well known & photogenic, she sells papers but this does not mean she is a role model.
