Removal of asylum families without detention

this makes for interesting reading.

Clearly there are no easy answers, and an end to the detention and forced removal of familes with young children is a step forward, but how can Sweden, for example have a voluntary removal rate of 82% compared to 14% in the UK - what are they doing right that we are not?

Maybe Sweden offers more incentives to re settle where the UK doesn't?

Maybe Sweden reduces their anxiety better than the UK?

Maybe Sweden fiddles statistics better than the UK?

Thanks for the link.

I know personally of one family who were woken up at 5.00am and bundled into a van and taken to the airport. The oldest girl was just about to take 8 GCSEs. She had to abandon them. It's truly shocking that we let this happen here.

Thank goodness this has been stopped.
