Absolute tradgedy

But there are 2 threads already

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 01/11/2010 13:13

:( so sad. I feel for her.

LilRedWG · 01/11/2010 13:15

Wouldn't this be more tactfully placed in "in the news" or "pregnancy loss" section?

sh77 · 01/11/2010 13:33

Yep very sad but I agree with previous poster re posting on a more appropriate section.
I have my 20 week scan in one hour and this has made me feel very anxious and has reminded me of my own losses.

LilRedWG · 01/11/2010 13:39

sh77 - good luck with the scan. :)

mummytojacob · 01/11/2010 13:40

Good luck with your scan sh77. Hope all goes well and Lily's news hasn't made you more anxious. So hard when you've had losses before.

xx

sh77 · 01/11/2010 13:43

Oh that is so kind. Thank you for the encouragement. X

lucielooo · 01/11/2010 13:57

Good luck sh77 :)

Hello. Quite a few MNers have contacted us to ask us to move this thread to the In the News topic - which we think is probably a very wise and sensitive thing to do.

So we'll be moving it right now...

MassiveKnob · 01/11/2010 14:07

This is just so sad. Sad

Eglu · 01/11/2010 14:22

I apologise for any offence I may have caused by not posting this in the appropriate topic.

THank you MN for moving it

"this must be very tragic for lily, and for every mother-to-be who has ever lost a baby.
i had no idea this was her second miscarriage. She should have been more careful with this pregnancy and stayed at home doing simple chores instead of prancing around on stage and singing her lungs out."

The above was one of the comments some eejet posted on the Daily Mail article! How rude! Shock

Poor Lily, her DP and all their loved ones.

LilRedWG · 01/11/2010 19:27

No worries Eglu.

Eglu · 01/11/2010 19:52

TryLikingClarity that is appalling. Some people are so stupid

Not only is that person on the Daily Mail site an utter moron, they've also clearly never read any news item connected with Lily Allen before as her earlier loss was widely reported.

I read the headline to the story earlier on a news site and my first thought was 'Oh no'. I remember how pleased I was for her when I heard she was pregnant again. Sad

It shows a complete lack of sensitivity and class on the Mail's part to even allow comments on the article. They should have disabled the comment function.

Best of luck sh77 and anyone else waiting on a scan.

SpringHeeledJack · 01/11/2010 20:13

awwww

that's awful news. Me and the kids saw Lily at the Big Chill and she was obviously so very happy. It was her last gig and she said she was going to take it easy for the rest of her pregnancy.

I'm so so sorry. Can't imagine what that must be like.

duchesse · 02/11/2010 18:14

Exactly the thread title I would have started. Poor poor girl. I hope she gets her much wanted baby soon. The papers are describing it as a miscarriage, but surely at 6 months it must have been a stillbirth, no?

scottishmummy · 02/11/2010 18:20

how absolutely harrowing for them.she spoke so often of desire to be mum.
