Alway the forgotten man of British rowing. Died yesterday aged 51. Won 2 Olympic golds with Steve Redgrave, became a father for th fifth time a month ago.

They think he contracted Weils disease when he ame into contact with contaminated water while he was rowing

He caught Weils disease after taking part in a rowing race in Lincolnshire.

Apparently had a severe form of Weils's Disease

the man should have been mourned by the nation for his achievments and the utter tragedy of his death.
