Here.

Good or bad? And would the fors and againsts be the same as for the veil (niqab) ban?

It's actually an interesting re-run of the changes in English society that led to the rise of the Puritan movement. They clamped down on theatre, dance, ballgames, dress and behaviour in general in pursuit of respectability and godliness. Wasn't successful then and I can't see banning mini-skirts etc. being much more successful now! Presumably Italy has rules on public drunkeness and keeping the peace already. Don't think banning lawnmowers at weekends really improves quality of life.

Is it the same as the veil ban arguments? Partly. Dictating an acceptable dress-code is hardly the sign of a free society although the aversion to people being masked in public is slightly more deep-rooted.

It hasn't been approved yet - I doubt it will and even if it is then how will it be enforced ?
ALready in churches people are asked to dress with respect. In some city squares people are asked to dress respectfully ( E.g in St Marks square bikini tops and skimpy shorts, no bare chests - men).
Castellmare is a beach resort sthat gets very hot is the summer so no shorts either? Nahh worn't happen .
