sick of worrying, sick of thinking what'll happen, sick of it all

have the coalition made us worry so much anything they say will be an improvement?

"have the coalition made us worry so much anything they say will be an improvement?"

A lot of people are thinking that, by making it sound 100% awful when something 99% awful comes along we all breathe a sigh of relief rather than say "now hold on there!"

Likewise the continual drip drip of information to the press. And this Government said it was going to be different to the last and brief the House first...

It's not just the coalition. Pre-election, Alistair Darling was also setting the scene for cuts in public spending 'worse than the Thatcher years'. If the Labour party had been returned to power, make no mistake, they would be doing something very similar.

In the meantime, it isn't worth worrying about what might happen. As ever in life, be as well-prepared as you can be for changes. Save money if you have money to save. Think about alternative jobs if yours is one that is likely to go.
