Will he go to the blue half of the City? Would we want him there?

Only football fans need reply. I know there are a few on Mumsnet [hsmile]

Maybe he'd like to move to West Brom - an up and coming team!!!

Bit disappointed in Colleen (is she is)saying she'll follow him anywhere, as the press is reporting.

jonicomelately · 19/10/2010 15:34

If they've got any sense they'll go abroad. If any couple need a fresh start......

I agree. The abuse he would get if he did go to City would be unparrelled.

But who else could afford his wages (Chelsea?) and would he get in the starting line-up for teams like Real Madrid if he did go abroad?

As long as he doesn't come to Arsenal I don't care where he goes. We're not that desperate!

bluebump · 19/10/2010 15:45

Alan Sugar obviously isn't a Rooney fan judging by his comments on Twitter right now! I see him going abroad.

ZENZIZENZIZENZIC · 19/10/2010 16:36

With regard to Colleen, I think she has confirmed my feeling that money talks...

I agree with the sentiment that they may go abroad.

mankyscotslass · 19/10/2010 16:41

We don't want them at City.

I think he will go abroad.

lollipopshoes · 19/10/2010 16:43

he can come to eastlands and sit on the bench with shay if he wants Grin

mankyscotslass · 19/10/2010 16:46

Loyalty not his strong point is it Wink

taintedpaint · 19/10/2010 17:23

Rooney is a tool. He can leave the country tomorrow for all I care! Grin

Chil1234 · 19/10/2010 18:08

Listening to Ferguson at the press conference I think the words that were this far from forming on his lips were 'greedy, ungrateful little two-faced gobshite'....

mankyscotslass · 19/10/2010 21:36

He won't go to City (I hope)

For many reasons

1 He is not on form

2 He can't take the hassle, and I can't cope with him being sent off frequently (cos it would happen)

3 We don't need him, I don't think he would be a fit in our sqaud.....

  1. I think there is probably a clause somewhere in his that says something about going to another premiership club within certain time constraints.
PortoFangO · 19/10/2010 21:38

He's not playing so well. Who would want him? DH tells me Real Madrid and Barcelona can't afford him at the mo.

huddspur · 19/10/2010 21:40

The way he's playing at the moment I don't think many clubs will want him as he'll have a big price tag.

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 19/10/2010 21:41

Can't Rooney leave the country..... Maybe Liverpools new owners could somehow find the cash - now that would really please Fergie,

expatinscotland · 19/10/2010 21:42

Too bad he won't just disappear altogether.

feedtheghoul · 19/10/2010 21:45

Do we want him at city? Nooooo!

Chil1234 - and that is exactly why he signed for them in the first place so you get what you pay for!

I might be persuaded to welcome him at COMS as chief boot cleaner Grin.
