Not sure if there is another thread but I was watching this yesterday and am amazed how many people abuse the emergency services due to pointless phonecalls. It really is quite shameful.....

It was a good PR 'don't cut our budget' exercise to demonstrate the breadth of calls the police have to respond to. Although, I don't think too many blue lights would have been rushing to "builders turning up two months late in Bolton"

I kept getting distracted by the spoof accounts that kept appearing on Twitter twitter.com/gmp24_7
