it appears that the passengers are very lucky.
we take the channel ferries a few times a year, so this scares me. imagine having to evacuate with two small children...

hope the injured people recover quickly.

oh god, this is why I hate the thought of travelling on a boat....I blame the Posaidon Adventure (I know I have spelt that hideously wrong) the thought of travelling on a big boat with no way of escape is awful. However I have no problem flying, so am totally irrational, obviously.
