Another great hollywood actor dead. I did like him in Some like It Hot.

I wonder who is next. Famous people always seem to due in 3's.

But, blimey, what a life!! 85 extraordinary years and looked like he enjoyed every single one of them. Give me a 'star' over a 'sleb' any day.

Some Like It Hot is the best comedy film ever made. Nothing has come close since and I doubt ever will.

I heard this yesterday (the day it happened I suppose. He was great in his youth, but I saw him on a telly show about a year ago. He looked awful, still had a sparkle in his eye but just looked haggered and over plasticked.
RIP Tony you were gorgeous in the Persuaders.
