Who saw the fight on Bravo last night between Alex Reid & Tom Kong Watson?
I could not believe how horrible this fight was, blood everywhere, Alex being pummeled to the ground continously, it was grotesque to watch, wish I had'nt now, why does he do this stupid fighting, his left eye was so swollen at the end I would be amazed if he did'nt lose his sight. This is not entertainment and I am shocked that it was filmed. But I think Jordan was enjoying it :o

No I didn't watch. It sounds horrible.

Wasn't he under contract to contest in a few more fights?

Chinghehuang · 26/09/2010 15:35

Not sure but this fight had been postponed from May, at first Alex seemed to be in control but he was soon being pummeled so badly I could hardly watch, he looked a mess and I thought he was going to pass out his legs were so wobbly. What is the point of this type of fighting, kicking & punching to kill virtually. I think Alex should give up, he is just making a fool out of himself.

i watched it.

the man is a cage fighter. it's what he trains to do. it's a sport, like boxing.

why are you suprised it was filmed? there are always mma fights and ufc type events on tv.

his eye did look pretty horrific though. yoyu would be suprised how quickly it will go down.

i should imagine there will be a re-match between those two. it was a very close fight.

mayorquimby · 26/09/2010 16:24

sorry but what did you expect when you watch an MMA match?

Chil1234 · 26/09/2010 16:30

The world divides into two types of people.... the sort that thinks two men beating the crap out of each other is legitimate entertainment & a smart career choice... and the civilised sort.

tegan · 26/09/2010 16:41

i didn't see it as dh wouldn't let me pay for it but i heard alex lost dramaticaly

Goblinchild · 26/09/2010 17:01

Why did you watch it if it bothered you?

mayorquimby · 26/09/2010 17:23

surely Alex Reid is well past it. If he's still fighting in England at 35, I know his celebrity has made him a bit of a parlour attraction and will bring in some limited dosh, but he can;t seriously consider himself a contender can he? I mean he only got his title shot due to his celebrity.

prozacfairy · 28/09/2010 17:09

If it isn't entertainment why on earth were you watching it? Confused

Which is fair enough. But why choose to watch it, and not just for a moment before realising how "horrific" it was and switching, but watching a match lasting 25 minutes?

expatinscotland · 29/09/2010 13:36

I don't watch shite like that.

mayorquimby · 29/09/2010 15:19

I do. MMA is awesome.
