Has this been already posted?
Couldn't see it.

could it be true

Apparently, he's got a bit of a reputation for this, but no-one has managed to make it stick so far.

Hooray!! 10 minutes had passed without a sports star being implicated in a sex scandal. Was starting to get twitchy.

(But really... who cares?)

Mingg · 22/09/2010 17:21

Load of rubbish

RaisedFromPerdition · 22/09/2010 17:23

Yes, it's already posted in sleb twaddle.

nikkershaw · 22/09/2010 17:25

who was the other footballer who got mixed up with this? it was all made up but people still think he did it, can't remember his name!

pinkbasket · 22/09/2010 17:27

I must be getting old as it seems to me that marriage vows mean nothing to some people.

BoneyBackJefferson · 22/09/2010 19:29

No real evidence

but hey lets condemn him.
its a slow news week

I am wanting to know what these women have that enables them to charge so much money. When the Rooney story was at its height I asked my DH how much he would pay for me. I would command a whole fiver it seems.

Chil1234 · 23/09/2010 08:48

Apparently many of the big teams have access to discreet services. The women charge so much money, in part, because that's their fee for keeping quiet. The ones that opt to blab have presumably weighed up the News of the Screws offer against future potential earnings and decided that 'jam today' wins. Doesn't cover off why some people want to pay in the first place, of course. :)

Portofino · 23/09/2010 08:52

Grin at Kreecher. My DH would probably expect ME to pay HIM lol.

Chil1234 · 23/09/2010 08:59

Digressing slightly from actual prostitution.... does anyone else think it strange that men will pay someone to dance in front of them half-naked or sit on their lap in a spangly thong? I've been to some of these clubs and they are remarkably cheerless, sombre places. No-one seems to be enjoying themselves. I simply couldn't imagine a room of women a)wasting their money stuffing tenners into a man's pants and b) being able to do so without collapsing into helpless giggles.

Saltatrix · 23/09/2010 18:45

David seems completely angry about these allegations and has now taken legal action against the magazine that published this.

Didn't Daily star have to pay him damages after they did something similar claiming he made advances towards a model.

Personally I would take anything tabloids/magazines (especially) with a pinch of salt and wait and see the outcome.

mummyofexitedprincesses · 23/09/2010 19:08

Maybe someone was pretending to be him. The person the prostitute described had a completely different hairstyle and David was supposedly staying at another hotel at the time.

I didn't doubt the Rooney story for a moment, but DB, I don't think he would.
