I love cricket. I thought they played well and Umar Gul bowled really well.
And now Ijaz Butt has decided to throw shit.
He is a fucking disgrace

They should just go home. It is just awful

Butt's guilty of majorly sour grapes - even though he's trying to wriggle out the serious accusations he's made. I think the Pakistani cricketers, plus their officials, should go home and the whole lot of them be barred for a year or two for bringing the game into disrepute. What's the point in paying to watch a sporting event when one of the teams involved is only there to tick off a bookie's wish-list?

It will be interesting to see if the game goes ahead today. It is farcical now.

Awful man. I have heard two different interviews with him this morning. He just rants and won't submit to questions. How he can compare repeating 'I have heard rumours in betting circles' with bloke who mixes regularly with Pakistan Team members accepting cash to bowl no-balls which are then bowled on cue...
Twat.

I feel sorry for the clean Pakistan players. The impression Ijaz Butt is creating is that they are all cheats

Yes it is a disgrace. Twat is completely right for him.

He is a nobjockey - not content with tainting his own team he has to drag the English team through the dirt with him.

I hope the team take the moral highground and let thier cricket do the talking.

You have to wonder how Gul will be feeling this morning - such a great bowling spell and the head of his own cricket board is telling the world the England and wales team rolled over.
It is just scatter gun defence.

Apparently there was 'an exchange of views' betweeen some of the players in the nets this morning.
Both teams must be so hacked off

Aren't we all pleased that the public crucifixion of Hansie Cronje managed to clear the sport of shame of match fixing!!!

The ICC just seem to be endlessly taken by surprise.

Surely you operate from the position that it will be tempting and then everything flows from there.
