School cancels playtime because of noise???

here I can't believe this! I would be livid if my child attended that school. Of course school plytimes are noisy - for 15 minutes twice a day plus lunchtime - on week days for 38 weeks of the year. As for it reducing the value of the houses - errr yes - the school's been there for 100 years so they will have benefited from that when they bought tehir wretched houses!

I think the people who complained are essentially miserable gits. Yes children are noisy but its nice noisy! Can't believe the school didn't just tell them where to go though.

That would be my mum's secret wish.... She has a primary school next to her house and doesn't understand that children actually produce noise when they play. Hmm

We live near a school and I love the sound of the children playing. They're just happy fgs. some people are plain miserable, surely they knew a school was there when they bought the house.
Not so keen on all parked cars though!

Are these people who complaint not suppose to be at work instead of at home during school hours. If they are pensioners they should move to a retirement village where they are guaranteed some sort of silence

I agree with the comment on the website - name them and shame them. The complainers I mean (not the noisy kids, arf).

I would just be so disappointed in the school if I was a parent there. Why would they ever think denying children exercise was a good idea Sad

Is there anyone from Liverpool who has had this experience?

I am a trainee Journalist writing an article about this issue and would love to get in touch.
