Any one else watching the pope?

lapsed rc here, but getting an agnostic thrill. The gout ridden cardinal dissing England yesterday reminded me so much of Father Ted. 'Dougal, you said WHAT?, well great, we will have to put out a story that you have gout.' (Or would that be Father Jack?)

I loved the last Pope. I had a £100 bet on him outliving the Queen Mum. Bingo.

Wonderful head of hair for an 83 year old.

Say what you like about the Pop, but remember he is just an infallable human being (since 1879).

I am seeing a link between lack of hair loss and being a left-footer, if that helps anyone.

Watching BBC now, so boring, like watching the living dead, can't see the masses applauding.

I'm not so bothered about the Pope but getting a thrill from seeing my home town looking beautiful on the telly.

I thought JP2 kissed the tarmac, not the turf? Still... in a third world country, grass is normal for runways.

Edinburgh did look fabulous.
